Several common testing methods for Crush Tester
Crush Tester is a new type of instrument developed by our company in accordance with the new national standards. The instrument adopts advanced components, supporting components, and single chip microcomputers both domestically and internationally, with reasonable construction and multifunctional design. Equipped with LCD Chinese display, intelligent touch button operation, with various parameter testing, conversion, adjustment, display, memory, printing and other functions included in the standard. With data processing function, it can directly obtain statistical results of various data, and also has over range protection and fault self-diagnosis function.
The instrument has a compact structure, small volume, light weight, full functionality, easy adjustment, simple operation, and stable performance. It is a basic instrument for testing the compressive strength performance of cardboard. The instrument is equipped with corresponding auxiliary tools to perform the following tests:
——Equipped with a center plate for ring pressure testing and a dedicated sampler for ring pressure testing, to conduct a cardboard ring pressure strength test (RCT)
——Equipped with edge compression (adhesive) test samplers, vertical compression samplers, and auxiliary fixtures for edge compression (vertical compression) strength testing (ECT) of corrugated cardboard
——Equipped with a peel strength test stand for conducting adhesive (peel) strength test (PAT) on corrugated cardboard
——Equipped with a flat compression test sampler for corrugated cardboard flat compression strength test (FCT)
——Equipped with a groove tester and auxiliary equipment to conduct flat and vertical strength tests (CCT and CMT) on corrugated core base paper
Click the setting button on the standby interface to enter the parameter setting interface, as shown in the following figure. Then, click the [Test Mode] cell to select the sample for testing. Reboot and default to memory the last test status.
According to the needs of the sample, click on the [Pressing Plate Distance] cell, enter the appropriate pressing plate distance, and then press the return button to confirm. When adjusting the pressing plate distance, do not place any items on the pressing plate to avoid danger.
Click on [Test Speed] and input the test speed specified in the standard of 12.5mm/min. If set to other testing speeds, the actual testing speed should be indicated in the test results.
Click on the 'Descent Rate' cell, enter the descent rate, and press the return button to confirm.
The setting of the decrease ratio depends on the user's observation of the degree of sample crushing. The smaller the decrease ratio, the greater the degree of sample crushing, and it does not affect the accuracy of the value. It is recommended to set the decrease rate to 50% -75%, which should not be less than 50% to avoid damaging the instrument.
If the environmental pressure test needs to distinguish between horizontal and vertical directions, click on the "Environmental Pressure Horizontal and Vertical" cell, select "Yes" to turn on the horizontal and vertical functions, and then return to the upper left corner of the standby interface to switch between horizontal and vertical directions.

If conducting ring compression strength tests, a quantitative amount of the sample needs to be placed (other tests do not require quantitative amount) to measure the ring compression strength index. Click on the 'Quantitative' cell, enter the quantitative value of the sample, and press' Return 'to confirm.
If you need to perform a flat compression test, please enter the area of the sample. Click on the 'Flat pressing area' cell, enter the area, and press' return 'to confirm.
To perform a bonding test, please enter the actual number of stitches used. Click on the 'Number of Stripping Needles' cell and enter the number of stitches. If you need to perform a bonding test, please enter the actual number of stitches used. Tap the 'Number of stitches' cell, enter the number of stitches, and press' Return' to confirm.
