Test steps and operation process of Internal Bond Tester

The YT-IBT Internal Bond Tester is a new type of instrument developed by our company in accordance with the requirements of the national standard GB/T26203-2010 Determination of Inner Bonding Strength of Paper and Boardboard (Scott Type).


Interlayer bonding strength refers to the ability of cardboard to resist interlayer separation, which reflects the internal bonding ability of the paper. The internal bonding strength can be completely controlled, which is very important for processing multi-layer paper and cardboard. If the internal bonding value is low or unevenly distributed, it may cause problems when the paper and cardboard are laid flat in an offset press using adhesive ink; If the adhesive strength value is too high, it will bring difficulties to the processing and increase the company's costs. This test is widely used in the printing and packaging industry for multi-layer cardboard such as cardboard boxes, white cardboard, gray cardboard, and white cardboard.



Test steps and operating procedures


1、 Determination of sample position: Select samples from the dispersed positions of the same batch of materials.


2、 Take a sample from the material to be tested (cut without creases or shielding points), with a length of 135mm and a width of 25.4mm.


3、 Number of samples: More than 5 samples of the same material need to be tested.


4、 Standard state of the sample: Before the test, it should be placed at a temperature of 23 ℃± 10 ℃, with a relative temperature of 85%, for at least 4 hours.


5、 Installation sample:


1. Take a roll of double-sided tape with a width of 25.4mm and fix it on the double-sided tape holder.


2. Place the sample holder (five pieces in total) on the pin of the clamping holder


3. Take strong double-sided adhesive from the double-sided adhesive fixed stand and stick it flat onto the five sample seats, cutting both sides flat


4. Tear off the strong double-sided adhesive and stick the sample flat onto the double-sided adhesive, cutting both sides flat.


5. Then, fix the stand with double-sided adhesive tape and apply a layer of double-sided adhesive tape evenly to the sample, cutting both sides flat.


6. Insert five L-shaped aluminum alloy blocks into the slots on the clamping plate.


7. Install the clamping plate on the clamping seat rod, lock the left and right fixing nuts, and fix the clamping plate on the clamping seat


8. Pull the clamping rod upwards, and the pressure gauge will display 0.6MPa~1MPa. Release the clamping rod downwards again. Be careful not to pull the tensioning rod directly without installing the sample.


9. Loosen the two fixing nuts on the left and right.


10. Press and hold the clamp of the clamping plate, take out the clamping plate, and use a blade to cut open the burrs on the five sets of sample seats.


6、 Place one of the prepared sample seats on the test seat and lock it tightly onto the test seat as shown in the following figure.


7、 Turn the impact hammer to the right horizontal position and attach it to the electromagnet. Press the test button on the touch screen, and the impact hammer will impact the L-shaped aluminum alloy block. At this time, the screen will display the test results, and the single test is completed. Test the untested test sockets in sequence according to the above methods.
