1、When the instrument is not in use, cover it for protection and keep it clean.

2、After use, turn off the instrument power switch and cut off the power supply.

3、After testing the powder sample, clean the test hole and sample holder with clean gauze to avoid contamination of subsequent samples with powder.

4、Do not touch the working surface of the standard with your hands. If necessary, a cotton ball dipped in anhydrous ethanol can be used to wipe the working standard board to remove dirt. After using the black tube, it should be placed with the opening facing downwards to prevent dust from falling. Store the standard device in the accessory box and keep it clean.

5、Do not touch the light source bulb and optical components with your hands. When cleaning is needed, use tweezers to clip Cotton wool and dip it in absolute ethanol to scrub.

6、Frequently used instruments should be replaced with new light bulbs every year. Open the rear cover plate, loosen the two screws located in the upper part of the four screws on the side of the lamp holder, wear clean gloves, pull out the old bulb upwards, and replace it with a new one. Pay attention to the height of the filament being flush with the center of the condenser, and tighten the screws.
