How to use Automatic Colorimeter to measure the chromaticity and color difference of objects
The Automatic Colorimeter is a detection instrument that uses the principle of light reflection to measure the color, color difference, and whiteness of objects.
Product Features
Measure the color and color difference reflected by objects
Measure D65 brightness (R457 blue brightness)
Measure the fluorescence whitening degree generated by the emission of fluorescent substances (the sample contains fluorescence whitening agent)
Determination of CIE whiteness (Ganz whiteness W10 and color deviation TW10)
Measuring the whiteness of ceramics, building materials, and non-metallic mineral products
Measurement of Hunter System Lab and Hunter (Lab) Whiteness
Determination of Yellowness and Ink Absorption Value
Measure the opacity, transparency, light scattering coefficient, and light absorption coefficient of the sample
How to measure the color, color difference, and whiteness of objects.
1. ISO brightness (blue brightness) measurement
Push the pull board forward. If the user does not need to measure the chromaticity, they can directly press the 【 Whiteness 】 button for whiteness testing, which has the advantage of saving testing time.
2. Fluorescence Whitening Measurement
Firstly, it is necessary to have tested the whiteness value of R457 (after doing 8.1 or 8.2). After pulling out the pull plate, press the 【 F 】 key. Display the fluorescence whitening degree F.
3. Opacity measurement OP
Push in the pull plate, press the [OP/T] button, place multiple layers of paper, press the [R Å] button, and then press the [R0] button on the single layer lined black cylinder to measure the opacity OP.
4. Transparency measurement T
Push in the pull board, press the [OP/T] button, use the [R84] button for a single-layer paper lined 84 degree white board (which can be replaced by a No.1 board), and then press the [R0] button for a single-layer paper lined black cylinder to measure the transparency T.
5. Measurement of light scattering coefficient and light absorption coefficient (S, A)
Push in the pull plate, press the 【 S.A 】 key, first place multiple layers of paper and press the 【 R Å 】 key, then press the 【 R0 】 key on the single layer lined black cylinder to measure S and A.
6. Measurement of ink absorption value
Push on the pull plate and press the [I] button. First, place the paper without ink on the sample holder, press the [R Å] button, and then press the [RI] button to obtain the I ink absorption value.
7. Measurement of whiteness and chromaticity
Push on the pull plate, place the sample to be tested on the sample holder, press [Test] or the metal button on the panel, and the instrument enters the testing state. Wait for the test to be completed, and immediately display the chromaticity (according to the chromaticity option) and whiteness data.
If you need to store, press the [Store] button, or wait for other items (such as fluorescence whiteness, opacity, etc.) to be tested before storing.
